Every 2 Weeks
9:00 - 5:00
(likely Sun or Sat, will decided as a group)
PLUS
3 In Person - 3 Day Weekends
Dates & Location decided as a group!
Homework (not counted in program hours);
Average of 1 hr weekly homework throughout the course.
(readings, write ups, watching recordings of director working with clients).
Students home Personal Practice must be at least 2 hours weekly.

Helene is a certified yoga therapist with IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists). With over 26 years experience Helene specializes and is certified in Pain Care Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy, and Yoga Education.
Founder of H~OM Yoga Center/School (2007), Helene teaches group classes, offers private one-on-one yoga therapy sessions and offered Yoga Alliance registered 200hr yoga teacher training and 300hr advanced yoga training programs from 2010 - 2022.
Since 2019 with the urging of her graduate students she became the director and lead educator of H~OM TYES (Therapeutic Yoga Education School) an 800 hour Yoga Therapy Program Accredited by IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists). A pioneer in her field, Helene is also the president of MISTY - Montreal International Symposium on Therapeutic Yoga, which she co-founded in 2011. www.homyogaevents.com
MISTY which has grown to be a highly respected biannual conference known across the continents for its quality and intimate setting, where health care and yoga therapy professionals connect, educate, share experiences, wisdom and compassion, while maintaining an element of fun!
Helene is best known for her deep compassion and commitment to increasing awareness of yoga therapy to health care and yoga professionals and the Canadian public, while educating and helping those who suffer through her privates yoga therapy sessions, class teachings, and training programs.
Helene is also a proud, dedicated mom to 4 awesome grown kids and grandma to 2 sweet grandchildren.
